We are a DC-based small business that sells introductory genealogy books for African Americans called “For The Culture: A Genealogy Handbook For The Cool Kids”. A portion of all proceeds goes to our 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Majani Project (www.majani.org) which is focused on using genealogy to strengthen foundational identity and increase resilience and self-esteem. Over the next year, we plan to launch a line of journals.
