Janice Ferebee, MSW, is an author, speaker, award-winning female empowerment expert, retired non-profit professional, and two-time DC elected official, with a Master of Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Social Policy & Practice (SP2), dedicated to HELPING GIRLS GROW UP GREAT! She is the founder & Chief Woman Warrior (CWW) of Ferebee Enterprises International, LLC (FEI), a global female empowerment social enterprise. She has also been blessed with the distinction of being featured on BET’s Teen Summit, The Oprah Winfrey Show, and I/m a 2003 ESSENCE Award Winner, for her engaging & innovative GOT IT GOIN’ ON® (GIGO) empowerment books and program for girls of color.
