Description
Konkan, the ‘corner piece,’ is a coastal land on the west coast of India. Hindu scriptures mention that this land was created when one of the avatars of Lord Vishnu threw an axe into the sea and commanded the Sea God to recede to where his axe had fallen. This curry, made from a fresh herb paste and coconut milk, represents this coast’s bounty.
Our sauces are ready to use straight out of the jar. Sauté meat or vegetables, add sauce, simmer for a few minutes, and your curry is done! One jar is sufficient for one lb. of meat or vegetables.
