Makhani, which means ‘A Butter Infused Tomato Curry Sauce’, is the mother sauce to make the classic dish – Butter Chicken or Butter Paneer. Created in New Delhi around India’s independence in 1947, the result was a silky smooth, creamy tomato sauce, Indian Curry Simmer Sauce.
Our sauces are ready-to-use straight out of the jar. Saute meat or vegetables, add sauce, simmer for a few minutes, and your curry is done! One jar is sufficient for one lb of meat or vegetables.
